Ruk'u'x Ulew (Heart of the Earth) is a small Mayan women´s collective in Guatemala. "Our organic cacao is grown on an indigenous farm in Coban, Alta Verapaz and then transported to San Marcos La Laguna. Each bean is carefully selected to ensure only the highest quality remain and then sun-dried. Our local Kaqchikel family of women gather to roast the beans over a wood fire, giving it a unique robust flavour. Make your own drinking Cacao  

DIRECTIONS
How to make a Cacao drink with this raw block: Chop chosen amount of cacao block while heating up water. Add the chopped Cacao to melt in the hot water. Blend together using a spoon, milk frother or blender (gently and with caution). Optional: add your own spices and sweetner. For example some Cayenne pepper or cinnamon. If sweetener, try organic stevia, panela or honey. Maybe a bit of coconut oil. Raw Cacao can also be added to smoothies, breakfast bowls, oatmeal, chocolate bliss balls, desserts and more. (can also be added to your Junajpu to have a more bitter taste and stronger raw Cacao taste). 

Cacao originates from the jungles of current day Peru, Ecuador and Brazil.  This Criollo Cacao comes from in the highlands of Guatemala. Criollo is known and unique, that it has high concentration of Anandamide and Theobromine, which are 2 of the potent ingredients, giving Ceremonial Cacao it’s power more in scientifically.
