1/2 LB of organic Pure Cacao paste from Ruk’u’x Ulew (”Heart of the Earth”).

Ruk'u'x Ulew (Heart of the Earth) is a small Mayan women´s collective in Guatemala. "Our organic cacao is grown on an indigenous farm in Coban, Alta Verapaz and then transported to San Marcos La Laguna. Each bean is carefully selected to ensure only the highest quality remain and then sun-dried. Our local Kaqchikel family of women gather to roast the beans over a wood fire, giving it a unique robust flavour. We sit together for hours to peel the beans and put love and high energy into themPROCEEDS SUPPORT LOCAL FARM AND LOCAL PRODUCERS! Ingredients: Pure organic Cacao paste (Theobroma cacao)

Make your own drinking Cacao

DIRECTIONS
How to make a Cacao drink with this pure block of Cacao goodness:

Shave the Cacao block with a knife while heating up water. Fine chop or shred a bit extra for easier melting. Add the chopped Cacao to melt in the hot water (warm but not boiling hot!), or use the slower water bath method. Blend and stir together using a wooden spoon and for good froth- whisk passionately! you can also use a milk frother or blender (gently and with presense and caution).

Optional: Cacao is naturally bitter when nothing is added so if you wish to, here you can add in your choice of spices, and sweetener that calls to you, to make your drink how you want it. Ex Spices; Cinnamon powder,Cayenne, Turmeric, Ginger, Vanilla. Ex Sweetener; Maple syrup, Honey, Stevia, coconut- or cane sugar.and maybe even add in a dash of coconut oil.. Or of course, have it all natural! Pure Cacao can also be added to smoothies, breakfast bowls, oatmeal, chocolate bliss balls, desserts and more.

This Criollo Cacao comes from in the highlands of Guatemala. This Cacao is known and unique to have high concentration of Anandamide and Theobromine, which are 2 of the potent ingredients that gives Ceremonial Cacao it’s special and nourishing magic for our body, mind and hearts.
